Raspberry Pi fruitbox

Hi

I love DWjukebox, but because of the lack of a linux version, decided to write one to run on the Raspberry Pi. It still needs a little tweaking, but is basically working. See it in action here...

I've taken my inspiration from DWjukebox, and as such it can be skinned using a text configuration file, and works in pretty much the same way. I plan to release it soon, but please let me know your thoughts if you like!

That is super impressive.  I can't wait to see your follow up.

1.  Any limit on number of songs?  How are they stored?  Thumb drive or ???

2.  Link to the switches you're using?  Can they be lit?

Thanks.

There shouldn't be a limit on the number of songs. Just point fruitbox to the directory where they are stored (sd card or usb stick) and it'll build the database.

The switches I used are here...

...they dismantle so that you can insert lettering inside them (which I just printed out on normal paper).  And yes, they can be illuminated (although I didn't bother)

Hi,

I've uploaded a new video showing another fruitbox skin (based on DWJukebox's WallJuke skin)...

I'm trying to find the time to finish fruitbox off properly so I can release it soon.
